Curriculum Overview

Curriculum covers anatomy & physiology, principles of human diseases, healthcare fundamentals, clinical pharmacology, diagnostic methods, clinical procedures, BLS training, and more!

Course consists of 15 modules of instructional content broken down into respective lessons. Each module contains detailed lectures and notes, animated video lectures, interactive activities, real-world clinical cases, classmate interaction, laboratory simulations, constant feedback and support from instructors.

Module 15: CCMA Certification Exam

Upon successful completion of all course modules, students will sit for The National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA) NCCA-accredited CCMA certification exam. Students will have a choice of taking the exam online with a proctor or at a PSI testing center.

The CCMA exam is 150 questions. Students will be given 3 hours to complete the exam.

The exam will test student’s knowledge on a variety of topics including, but not limited to: anatomy & physiology, pathophysiology of human disease, medical terminology, pharmacology, clinical patient care, and diagnostic procedures.

ACT covers the cost of the CCMA exam.
